助番並びに御供方を仰せ付けられた。もっとも時に応じて御中小性勤仮跡式は助勤等も仰せ付けられる可能性があるため、御合力二人扶持を下された
一 同七年午（1804年）八月一日、組方砲術指南手伝いを仰せ付けられた

一 文政三年辰（1820年）九月二十日、良之進様の御側御雇勤を仰せ付けられ、一人扶持を御増しになって下された
一 同五年午（1822年）三月十四日、北原覚左衛門が莫大な御金を引き負い（横領し）、死罪に処すべきところ、先頃の御凶事の後まだ日数も経っておらず、その上諸寺院から助命願いが出されたことも含め、格別の御慈悲をもって重い追放を申し付けた。これにより遠慮を仰せ付けられたが、同二十八日に遠慮を御免された
一 同六年未（1823年）九月十八日、亡父八郎太夫の跡式として高十五人扶持を相違なく下され、勤方はこれまでの通り
一 同年十二月二十四日、組方砲術指南を仰せ付けられた
一 同七年申（1824年）閏八月二十三日、御薬方を仰せ付けられた
一 同八年酉（1825年）六月十五日、良之進様の御住居の趣法替えにより、御番方高の順席となった

He was appointed to assistant duty and escort service. Since he might also be appointed to assist with page duties or temporary ceremonial positions as needed, he was granted an additional allowance of two-person stipend.

- On the 20th day of the 9th month of Bunsei 3, year of the Dragon (1820): Appointed to hired service attending Lord Ryonoshin, granted an increase of one-person stipend
- On the 14th day of the 3rd month of Bunsei 5, year of the Horse (1822): Because Kitahara Kakuzaemon had embezzled a tremendous amount of domain money and should have been sentenced to death, but since not much time had passed since the recent mourning period, and moreover various temples had submitted petitions for clemency, through exceptional mercy he was sentenced to severe banishment. Due to this, [Shozaemon] was ordered to refrain from duties, but on the 28th day of the same month was released from this restriction
- On the 18th day of the 9th month of Bunsei 6, year of the Sheep (1823): Inherited his late father Hachirotayu's position with a fifteen-person stipend granted without change, duties to continue as before
