1. On the 22nd day of the 5th month of Tenpō 14 (1843), due to financial reforms in the domain's administration, he was unavoidably granted a reduced stipend of one person-portion, and it was indicated that duties might be assigned according to circumstances.
1. On the 10th day of the 12th month of Kōka 2 (1845), due to his father Chūsho's illness and advanced age, retirement was granted as requested, and the family inheritance of a stipend of ten person-portions was transferred without change. He was appointed to the lowest rank of guard duty and was to specialize in Confucian studies, diligently engaging in reading and educational supervision.
1. On the 10th day of the 12th month of Kaei 2 (1849), as there had been long-standing intentions regarding his father Chūsho, he was ordered to take up residence within Irinoya-gō (in Kurokawachi Village and Izumihara). Since Chūsho was of advanced age, he was to accompany him as an attendant. Due to this, he was relieved of active duty, but through special consideration, he was granted a stipend of five person-portions and was to relocate with his entire household.
1. On the 20th day of the 10th month of the same 4th year (1851), when his father Chūsho was ordered to reside in the countryside, he had been assigned as an attendant due to his father's advanced age, but since Chūsho recently died of illness, he was ordered to return to his former duties.
