一、貞享二年乙丑十月、召し出されて十五人扶持を下された。
一、同三年丙寅十月、五人扶持の御加増を下された。
一、元禄二年己巳十月、御使番役を仰せ付けられ、高百五十石に御直しして下された。
慎護院様御代
一、同七年甲戌七月二十八日、御留守居役を仰せ付けられ、江戸表へ引越した。
一、同年十二月二十八日、御役料三十石を下された。
一、同十年丁丑閏二月、今後物頭並鉄砲組に仰せ付けられた。
ただし、これ以後御留守居役の本役は物頭と相立ち、御先手物頭に組み込まれ、先後の次第の順席に仰せ付けられた。
一、同十一年戊寅六月二十三日、二十石の御加増を下された。

Former Lord Honda Hyōbu-shōyū-sama Kawanishi Sajiemon
During the reign of Muchaku-in-sama:
1. In the 10th month of Jōkyō 2, year of the Metal Ox (1685), he was summoned to service and granted a stipend of fifteen person-portions.
1. In the 10th month of Jōkyō 3, year of the Fire Tiger (1686), he was granted an increase of five person-portions to his stipend.
1. In the 10th month of Genroku 2, year of the Earth Snake (1689), he was appointed to the position of messenger and his stipend was directly increased to 150 koku.
During the reign of Shingo-in-sama:
1. On the 28th day of the 7th month of Genroku 7, year of the Wood Dog (1694), he was appointed to the position of deputy (caretaker official) and relocated to Edo.
1. On the 28th day of the 12th month of the same year, he was granted a position allowance of thirty koku.
1. In the intercalary 2nd month of Genroku 10, year of the Fire Ox (1697), he was henceforth appointed to the position of assistant commander of the musket unit.
However, from this time forward, his main role as deputy was to work alongside the commanders, and he was incorporated into the advance guard commanders with seating order determined by precedence.
1. On the 23rd day of the 6th month of Genroku 11, year of the Earth Tiger (1698), he was granted an increase of twenty koku to his stipend.
