一、正徳三年癸巳閏五月五日、亡父の跡式相違なく仰せ出され、幼年のため小普請入りとなった。
真如院様御代
一、享保元年丙申、御在所（高遠）へ引越しを願い出て仰せ付けられ、三月十二日に高遠に到着した。
一、同十年己年始より佐次右衛門と改名した。これまでは佐次郎であった。
一、同二十年卯三月七日より小兵衛と改名した。
源隆院様御代
一、元文元年丙辰四月六日、江戸表へ引越しを仰せ付けられ、五月七日に江戸に到着した。
一、同二年丁巳十月七日、御徒士頭を仰せ付けられた。
一、同三年戊午九月十八日、御側勤を仰せ付けられ、御徒士頭を兼帯した。
一、同六年辛酉正月十五日、御徒士頭として今後表方御役人の上席に仰せ付けられた。
一、延享三年丙寅正月十五日、大目付格に成し下され、御徒士頭はこれまで通り、御側勤は御免となった。
一、同年四月五日、甥の潮田与八郎に子細があり、永の御暇を願い出たが、幼年につき見継ぎのため一両年の御暇を願い通り仰せ付けられた。
一、翌卯正月二十日、帰参を仰せ付けられ、本地高百七十石で御番方となった。
一、同五年戊辰六月六日、大目付格に成し下され、御徒士頭への帰役を仰せ付けられた。
一、寛延二年庚午七月十七日、押合加役を仰せ付けられ、御徒士頭は御免となったが、支配筋はただ今までの通りとした。

During the reign of Shingo-in-sama:
1. On the 5th day of the intercalary 5th month of Shōtoku 3, year of the Water Snake (1713), he was appointed to succeed his late father without change, but due to his young age, he was assigned to the small construction corps.
During the reign of Shin'nyo-in-sama:
1. In Kyōhō 1, year of the Fire Monkey (1716), he requested and was granted permission to relocate to the lord's residence (Takato), arriving at Takato on the 12th day of the 3rd month.
1. From the beginning of Kyōhō 10, year of the Earth Boar (1725), he changed his name to Sajiemon. Previously he had been called Sajirō.
1. From the 7th day of the 3rd month of Kyōhō 20, year of the Metal Rabbit (1735), he changed his name to Kobei.
During the reign of Genryū-in-sama:
1. On the 6th day of the 4th month of Genbun 1, year of the Fire Dragon (1736), he was ordered to relocate to Edo, arriving in Edo on the 7th day of the 5th month.
1. On the 7th day of the 10th month of Genbun 2, year of the Fire Snake (1737), he was appointed as head of foot soldiers.
1. On the 18th day of the 9th month of Genbun 3, year of the Earth Horse (1738), he was appointed to personal attendance while concurrently serving as head of foot soldiers.
1. On the 15th day of the 1st month of Genbun 6, year of the Metal Rooster (1741), as head of foot soldiers, he was henceforth appointed to the senior position among the front palace officials.
1. On the 15th day of the 1st month of Enkyō 3, year of the Fire Tiger (1746), he was granted the rank of inspector-general, continuing as head of foot soldiers but being relieved of personal attendance duties.
1. On the 5th day of the 4th month of the same year, due to circumstances involving his nephew Shioda Yohachiō, he requested permanent leave, but since the nephew was young, he was granted leave for one or two years as requested for supervision purposes.
1. On the 20th day of the 1st month of the following year of the Rabbit, he was ordered to return to service with his original stipend of 170 koku and was assigned to guard duty.
1. On the 6th day of the 6th month of year 5, year of the Earth Dragon (1748), he was granted inspector-general rank and ordered to return to the position of head of foot soldiers.
1. On the 17th day of the 7th month of Kan'en 2, year of the Metal Horse (1749), he was appointed as assistant inspector, relieved of the position of head of foot soldiers, but his administrative authority remained as before.
1. On the 16th day of the 6th month of Hōreki 2, year of the Water Monkey (1752), he died of illness.
