茎立をとるへからす枝多きを去へし又宅
中には十一月に郊（カウ）外にあるを買取てうふへ
しうへて後糞水をそゝくへしやうやく葉を
取茎をとり正二月には薹（クヽタチ）出るを折取へし
是春中の嘉蔬（カソ）とすへし凡かふらを作るに
糞をしは〳〵そゝくへし〇一種すはりかふあ
り根大なりうすくまきてしけきを去て
相さる事一尺余なるへし糞をそゝけは甚
大なり根上にあらはれてすえおきたるか

現代語訳
茎立ちを取ってはならない。枝の多いものを取り除くべきである。また宅地の中には十一月に郊外にあるものを買い取って植えるべきである。植えた後は糞水を注ぐべきである。徐々に葉を取り、茎を取り、正月二月には薹（くくたち）が出るのを折り取るべきである。これを春中の美味しい野菜とするべきである。およそ蕪を作るには、糞をしばしば注ぐべきである。
○一種の座り蕪がある。根が大きい。薄くまいて茂ったものを取り除いて、互いの間隔を一尺余りにするべきである。糞を注げば甚だ大きくなる。根が地上に現れて据え置いたもののようである。
○油菜（あぶらな）というものがある。別名を蕓薹（うんたい）という。菘にも蔓菁にも似ているが別物である。葉茎は味が劣る。田野に多く植えてその実を取って油を搾り取る。西州に多く作り畿内に送る。三月に花が咲く。花は黄色で満地に金のようである。植え方は蕪と同じである。
