ありったけの金銀を残らず捨て、今は心にかかる雲も晴れたりと喜んでいる折から、捨てた金銀がひとかたまりになって空中へ飛び上がれば、この勢いに引かれて世界中の金銀が一緒に集まり、万々が金蔵を指して飛んでくる様は目も当てられない次第で、金井の者ども（家来たち）を金蔵の羽根へ上げて金玉を防がせる。

Having thrown away every last piece of gold and silver, just as he was rejoicing that the clouds weighing on his heart had finally cleared, the discarded gold and silver formed into a single mass and flew up into the air. Drawn by this force, gold and silver from around the world gathered together and came flying toward Manman's treasure storehouse - a sight too terrible to behold. He had his retainers climb up onto the roof of the treasure house to fend off the golden orbs.
