【本文】
捨てた金銀が世間の金と一かたまりになって倍増になって飛び帰ってきたので、家にいることも立ち去ることも難しく、夫婦もろとも出奔して野山もわからずに歩いていたところへ、以前に金を貸していた人々が、今は金持ちとなり、借りた金に利息を添えて追いかけてきて、無理無体と返済しようとして、辰巳芸者のようになって金を追いつけてくる。

「なんでも家へ引っ張っていって、金をみな繰り返し付けるのがいい」

【Main text】
The gold and silver he had thrown away merged with all the money in the world into one mass, multiplied, and came flying back. Finding it impossible either to stay at home or to leave, the husband and wife fled together, wandering without knowing where they were going through fields and mountains. Then the people to whom he had previously lent money, having now become wealthy themselves, came chasing after them with the borrowed money plus interest, trying to force repayment upon them. They pursued him like courtesans from the pleasure quarters, pressing money upon him.
