覚
一 唐船が白島の内に繋船した場合、天気の良い時に鉄砲大頭・馬廻り
頭・無足頭・船手頭・目付役が海上に出向くこと。足軽頭・石火
矢役・抱大筒打を差し出し、様子を見て打ち払うよう申し談ずべきこと。鉄砲を撃つ
手順については、その時の番頭中三人から指図すべきこと
一 南風で六連島に唐船が漂泊した時、小倉・長府の役
人と申し談じ打ち払う際は、無足頭・船手頭・目付役・抱大筒
打を召し連れ、この通り四領で申し談じ打ち払うよう行うべきこと
一 白島・雄島・雌島から大筒を撃つ件について、唐船に矢が届くと見えれば
打ちかけるよう、筒役の面々に馬廻り頭・無足頭から

Memorandum
One When Chinese ships are moored within Shirajima, in fair weather the Chief of Firearms, Chief of Horse Guards,
Chief of Foot Soldiers, Chief of Naval Forces, and Inspector shall proceed to sea. Foot soldier chiefs, stone-fire
arrow officers, and cannon gunners shall be dispatched to observe and drive them away as discussed. The
procedure for firing guns shall be directed by three shift commanders at that time.
One When Chinese ships drift at anchor at Mutsure Island due to southerly winds, when consulting with officials
from Kokura and Chofu for repelling them, the Chief of Foot Soldiers, Chief of Naval Forces, Inspector, and cannon
gunners shall be brought along, and the four domains shall consult together to drive them away as instructed.
One Regarding firing cannons from Shirajima, Ojima, and Mejima, if arrows appear to reach the Chinese ships,
the Chief of Horse Guards and Chief of Foot Soldiers shall consult with the cannon officers to open fire.

Of course, regarding sending gunpowder and ammunition to both islands, these two officers shall also
make the decision.
One Regarding water transport to Shirajima, the Naval Commander shall
issue instructions to row and transport without fail each time.
