現代語訳
伯耆守・大久保加賀守・井上河内守・松平下総守は、下段西の方、上より五畳目通りより順々に着座する。
一、若年寄の久世大和守・加藤越中守・永井伊豆守・大久保長門守は、西の御縁で伺候する。
一、下段の御次の襖障子を取り払い、御簾を掛ける。松の間の三本目の柱通りで南北に衝立障子を立てる。御縁の方にも御簾を掛け、その内に外様四品以上の面々が列座する。この所の御簾は垂らしておく。
一、三の間に御譜代衆並びに外様万石以上の面々、その外布衣以上の御役人、法印・法眼の医師が列座する。
一、南の方の御縁には詰衆・奏者番・番頭・芙蓉間の御役人が列候する。
一、西の御縁の方に高家が列座する。
一、出御以前、松平薩摩守は大広間・松の間の衝立の外まで出向いて待機している。
一、中山王の使者は殿上間より、大目付《仙石丹波守・折井淡路守》が案内する。

Hōki-no-kami, Ōkubo Kaga-no-kami, Inoue Kawachi-no-kami, and Matsudaira Shimōsa-no-kami are seated in order on the lower platform on the western side, from the fifth tatami mat passage from the top.
Article: The wakadoshiyori (junior councillors) Kuze Yamato-no-kami, Katō Etchū-no-kami, Nagai Izu-no-kami, and Ōkubo Nagato-no-kami wait in attendance on the western veranda.
Article: The sliding doors of the next room on the lower platform are removed and bamboo screens are hung. Standing screens are erected running north-south along the third pillar line in the Pine Room. Bamboo screens are also hung on the veranda side, and within this area, the tozama daimyo of fourth court rank and above are seated in rows. The bamboo screens in this area are left hanging down.
