現代語訳
森川下総守
右の面々がその役職において、この時御次の間の仕切りの衝立の後ろの間へ
御同朋に引かれて行った。その後右の御簾を揚げ、下段の
御敷居際に立って御次の間で伺候する公卿の面々が
御目見えを済ませて入御する。
一、老中が殿上間へ越して両使者に挨拶を行い、すぐに退去する。
その後大目付が指図を行い、使者たちは退散する。美里
王子は大目付横田備中守が、豊見城王子は大目付
松平石見守が御玄関の階上まで先導し、従者も順々に退去する。
一、琉球人の両使者以外は一人も御目見えはなかった。
一、御小姓組・御書院番より出た人三十人が衆御書院の御番
所に勤仕し、本番と共にすべて素袍を着用していた。
一、大御番から出た人百人が大広間の四之間で勤番し、素袍を着用していた。
一、中山王からの御代替に付いての書翰を、出御以前に
殿上間において奏者番松平兵庫頭が受け取った。中山王自身の
代替に付いての書翰もまた同じ場所で奏者番石川

Morikawa Shimōsa-no-kami
These officials, in their respective roles, were led by the御同朋 (palace attendants) to the chamber behind the partition screens of the Waiting Chamber. After this, the aforementioned curtains were raised, and the court nobles who were standing at the threshold of the lower level, waiting in the Waiting Chamber,
completed their audience and entered the shogunal presence.
Article: The senior councilors proceeded to the Palace Chamber, exchanged greetings with both envoys, and immediately withdrew.
After this, the Grand Inspectors gave instructions, and the envoys dispersed. Prince Misato
was escorted by Grand Inspector Yokota Bitchū-no-kami, and Prince Tomigusuku was escorted by Grand Inspector
Matsudaira Iwami-no-kami to the upper level of the main entrance, with their attendants withdrawing in order.
