近江守が受け取った。右の両通を土圭之間において次但馬守へ渡した。
一、来翰は左の通り
謹んで尺楮を裁めて閣下に呈上し、恭しく聞く
貴国
大君新たに
国統を紹ぎ、四海昇平、万祥ことごとく臨むが如く、吾が小邦
もまた華封の祝いに効わざらんや。今茲に特に小臣美里王子を遣わし、
不腆の方物を捧げ、我が薩摩少将吉貴に従い
謹んで
申し上げ
賀儀を奉る。伏して冀わくは諸大老採納し給わんことを。専ら
台聴に達し、悚踴の至りに任せ難し。誠惶頓首して宣べず。

Ōmi-no-kami received it. The aforementioned two letters were handed over to Tsugaru Tajima-no-kami at the Dokei-no-ma (Earth-measuring Chamber).
Article: The incoming letter reads as follows:
I respectfully prepare this letter and humbly present it to Your Excellency, respectfully hearing that
your country's
Great Lord has newly
inherited the national succession, with the four seas at peace and all auspicious signs fulfilled. How could our small domain
not also offer congratulations like those of Kafū? Now I especially dispatch my retainer Prince Misato,
presenting humble tribute goods, following our Satsuma Minor Captain Yoshitaka,
to respectfully
present
congratulatory ceremonies. I humbly hope that the senior councilors will accept them. This is conveyed especially
to Your Honor's attention, and I cannot adequately express my utmost reverence and trepidation. With sincere respect and repeated bows, I dare not say more.
