　非彪非熊非羆王者之瑞獸更無對句此久米人所

　使館東下天妃宫前沼池内作假山剪紙作白鶴一
　池上斧大松一株立地中上亦作一白鶴如飛鳴相
　向狀四圍以紙皮作假山羅花草數十種圍之中作
　一老人二鹿如山呼祝壽狀此那霸人所設

現代語訳

非彪非熊非羆　王者之瑞獣　更無対句　この久米人の設けたものである。

使館の東、天妃宮前の沼池内に假山を作り、紙を切って白鶴一羽を作った。池上には大きな松一株を立て、地中に立てて、その上にも白鶴一羽を作り、飛び鳴き合うような姿にした。四方を紙皮で假山を作り、数十種の花草を配置してこれを囲んだ。中央に老人一人と鹿二頭を作り、山に向かって祝寿を呼ぶような状にした。これは那覇人の設けたものである。

英語訳

"Neither leopard nor bear nor brown bear, but an auspicious beast of the king, with no matching couplet." This was set up by the Kume people.

East of the embassy, in front of Tenpi Palace, an artificial mountain was constructed in a marsh pond, and a white crane was made by cutting paper. Above the pond, a large pine tree was erected, planted in the ground, and on top of it another white crane was made, arranged as if the two were calling to each other in flight. The surroundings were made into artificial mountains using paper bark, with dozens of varieties of flowers and grasses arranged around them. In the center, an old man and two deer were created, positioned as if calling out birthday congratulations to the mountain. This was set up by the Naha people.
