天を仰ぎ聖激切、屏営の至り、謹んで表を奉じて謝を称し、以て聞す。

康熙五十八年十一月　日　琉球国中山王臣尚敬謹んで表を上る

また疏す

琉球国中山王臣尚敬謹んで奏す、恭しく天恩を謝するの事のために。臣敬は弾丸の小国、海隅に僻処し、深く皇恩を沐し、臣の嗣封を允し給う。康熙五十八年、欽差正使翰林院検討海宝、副使翰林院編修徐葆光等が詔勅・幣帛を齎捧し、員役を随帯し、海船二隻に坐駕して、本年六月初一日に弊国に按臨し給うを蒙る。臣は旧例に依り、通国の百官臣庶をして詔勅を奉迎せしめ、天使館中に安んじ奉る。吉を揀んで六月二十六日、先ず臣の曾祖琉球国中山王尚貞への諭祭を蒙り、復た臣の父琉球国王尚益への諭祭を蒙る。続いて七月二十六日に宣読し、

Looking up to Heaven with sacred fervor and utmost reverence, I respectfully submit this memorial expressing gratitude, hereby reporting.

Ryukyu Kingdom's Chūzan King, subject Shō Kei, respectfully reports regarding the matter of humbly expressing gratitude for Heavenly grace. Your subject Kei rules a small kingdom like a pellet, situated in a remote corner by the sea, deeply bathed in Imperial grace, graciously permitted to inherit the investiture. In the 58th year of Kangxi, the imperially appointed Chief Envoy Hai Bao, Compiler of the Hanlin Academy, and Deputy Envoy Xu Baoguang, Editor of the Hanlin Academy, and others carried imperial edicts and ceremonial gifts, accompanied by officials and attendants, aboard two sea vessels, and graciously arrived at our humble kingdom on the first day of the sixth month of this year. Following old precedent, I had all officials and subjects throughout the kingdom welcome the imperial edicts and respectfully installed them in the Envoy Hall. Selecting an auspicious day on the 26th day of the sixth month, I first received ritual proclamations for my great-grandfather, Ryukyu Kingdom's Chūzan King Shō Tei, and again received ritual proclamations for my father, Ryukyu Kingdom's King Shō Eki.
