現代語訳

詔勅により臣敬を中山王に封じ給い、蒙賜として蟒縀等の品並びに妃への綵縀等の物を欽賜せらる。臣敬は百官を率領して拝舞叩頭し、恩を謝し奉る。その外、天使に随請して詔勅を懇留し、伝国の宝とせんことを願い、天使が前封の巻軸を査験し、依って聴許して臣に留付し給うを蒙り、一併して珍蔵し奉る。

竊かに惟るに、聖朝は意を加えて撫柔し給うこと、覆載するが如く同じ。臣敬等、いかで感激に勝えんや。この為に特に陪臣法司王舅向龍翼、紫金大夫程順則、使者楊天祐、通事蔡文河、副通事鄭元良・蔡墉等を遣わし、表章・土儀を齎捧して京に赴かしめ、恭しく天恩を謝し奉る。仰ぎ冀わくは、睿慈もて俯して下悃を鑒み給わんことを。臣敬、激切屏営の至りに任ずること無し。謹んで奏を上げて以て聞す。

英語訳

By imperial edict, your subject Kei was invested as Chūzan King, and graciously received gifts of python-patterned silk and other items, as well as colored silk and other goods for the queen consort. Your subject Kei led all officials in prostrating with dance and kowtowing to express gratitude for this grace. Additionally, I petitioned the envoys to allow the imperial edict to remain as a treasured heirloom of the kingdom. The envoys examined the scrolls from previous investitures and graciously permitted them to be left with your subject, which I treasure together as one collection.

I humbly reflect that the Sacred Dynasty extends caring protection and gentle governance, encompassing all like Heaven and Earth. How can your subject Kei and others not be deeply moved with gratitude? For this reason, I have specially dispatched accompanying subjects: Chief Legal Officer and Royal Uncle-in-Law Shō Ryūyoku, Purple-Gold Rank Tei Junsoku, Envoy Yō Tenyū, Interpreter Sai Bunka, Vice-Interpreters Tei Genryō and Sai Yō, and others to carry memorial documents and local tribute to the capital to humbly express gratitude for Heavenly grace. I humbly hope that Your Imperial benevolence will graciously examine these sincere feelings from below. Your subject Kei is overwhelmed with fervent reverence and anxiety. I respectfully submit this memorial to report.
