一、具志川殿は上之間より大広間へ、大目付二人が案内して二之間の諸大夫の御譜代大名の前で西向きに着座

松平薩摩守

右の通り出座し、御下段の御敷居内において御目見得、御奏者番が披露する。御下段の上より四畳目まで召し出されたのは、今度琉球の使者を遠路はるばる召し連れ、大変なことと思し召される段について

Matsudaira Satsuma-no-kami

As stated above, he takes his seat and has an audience at the lower level within the threshold area, with the goshōshaban making the formal announcement.
