板縁において三拝を奉り、御奏者番が披露した。

At the wooden veranda (ita-en), he performed three prostrations, which the oshōsha-ban announced.
After withdrawing from his seat, two ō-metsuke guided him to the denshō-no-ma (upper hall).
His attendants took their seats in the lower section, and Satsuma-no-kami also withdrew to the denshō-no-ma.
