　而具志川御敷居之内え出座之節

現代語訳

具志川が御敷居の内へ出座する際、薩摩守に従って二之間中央まで出る。
この時、御代替わりに付き遠路より使者を差し上げたことを御喜悦に思し召される中山王へ白銀・綿を遣わされる旨の上意があり、その趣を老中が伝達し、薩摩守・具志川が一礼する。

　　綿　　五百把
右の被遣物は最前より大広間に

英語訳

When Gushikawa takes his seat within the threshold area, he proceeds to the center of the Ni-no-ma following Satsuma-no-kami.
At this time, there is a shogunal command stating that white silver and cotton are to be bestowed upon the King of Chūzan, as the shōgun is pleased that [the king] sent an envoy from such a distant land on the occasion of the succession. The senior councilors convey this message, and Satsuma-no-kami and Gushikawa perform one bow.
