一大広間二之間老中若年寄北
　之方御襖障子際え附東之方え
　順々列座于時薩摩守先達而右
　之席南之方に着座其後大目付
　二人案内而殿上之間より具志川
　大広間三之間御敷居際西え向着
　座対老中一礼老中会釈有而
　具志川御敷居之内え出座之節
　薩摩守に随ひ二之間中央迄罷出

現代語訳

一、出仕の面々は長袴を着用。

一、大広間二の間で、老中・若年寄が北の方の御襖障子際に付き、東の方へ順々に列座した。この時、薩摩守は先だって右の席の南の方に着座していた。その後、大目付二人が案内して、殿上の間より具志川（王子）を大広間三の間の御敷居際西へ向かって着座させた。老中に対して一礼すると、老中も会釈があった。具志川（王子）が御敷居の内へ出座する節、薩摩守に随って二の間中央まで罷り出た。

1. The officials in attendance wore long hakama.

1. In the second room of the Great Hall (Ōhiroma), the rōjū (senior councilors) and wakadoshiyori (junior councilors) positioned themselves near the sliding screens on the north side and were seated in order toward the east. At this time, Satsuma-no-kami had already taken his seat on the south side of that section. Afterwards, two ōmetsuke guided Prince Gushikawa from the palace reception hall to be seated facing west near the threshold of the third room of the Great Hall. He bowed once to the rōjū, who acknowledged with a slight bow in return. When Prince Gushikawa moved to sit within the threshold area, Satsuma-no-kami accompanied him and proceeded to the center of the second room.
