現代語訳

一礼をして三之間へ退き、来賜（らいし）を拝戴し終わって、大目付二人の差図で四之間へ退座した。下賜された物は御車寄の方へ進物番が引き取り、具志川殿は上之間へ退去し、大目付二人が案内した。

一、老中へ薩摩守が一礼をして殿上間へ退座した。

一、殿上間において中山王へ遣わされる物の目録並びに老中よりの返翰を、大目付二人が持参して具志川へ相渡した。

英語訳

He bowed once and withdrew to the third chamber, completed the respectful receipt of the bestowed gifts, and then withdrew to the fourth chamber under the direction of two ōmetsuke. The bestowed items were taken away by the gift attendants toward the carriage entrance, Prince Gushikawa withdrew to the upper chamber, and two ōmetsuke provided guidance.

1. Satsuma-no-kami bowed once to the rōjū and withdrew to the palace chamber.

1. In the palace chamber, two ōmetsuke brought and handed over to Gushikawa the inventory of items to be sent to the King of Chūzan as well as the reply letter from the rōjū.
