一石切旅稼之者壱人も無御座候右は入念
村方一々取調仕候所少も相違無御座候若
此上にも不吟味成義有之て後日及御聞被成
候ハヽ其元ゟ品束#1御注進可被下候其段御調之
上如ケ様之御咎筋被仰付候共少も御恨無
御座候為後日連印仕証文仍て如件

差し上げ申し上げる一札の件
一、石切旅稼ぎの者は一人もおりません。このことは念入りに村方を一軒一軒取り調べいたしましたところ、少しも相違ございません。もしこの上にも調査不十分なことがあって、後日お耳に入ることがございましたら、そちらから詳細をご注進くださいませ。その段階でご調査の上、いかようなお咎めを仰せ付けられましても、少しもお恨みいたしません。後日のために連印いたします証文、よって件の如し。

At that point, after your investigation, whatever punishment you may impose upon us, we harbor no resentment whatsoever. We affix our joint seals to this document for future reference. Thus it is recorded.
