吹入るなり。かくするは胸肋（むね）の内なる肺（はいの）
蔵（ざう）の呼 吸（き）を出納（だしいれ）する機転（はたらき）の絶（たえ）たる
ものを挽回（ひきかへさ）んためにすることなれば。よくその
意（こゝろ）をえて行（おこなふ）べし。膻中（だんちう）とて両乳の真（まん）
中平常は鍼（はり）すべからざる所なれども。
卒死（そくし）の者にはふかく此所へ鍼（はり）を一寸
あまりも骨（ほね）を貫（つらぬ）き刺（さし）て。生を回（かへす）べき。
鍼科（はりいしや）にて秘伝とすることあり。これは
心臓（しんのざう）を刺（さし）て。絶（たえ）たる機転（はたらき）を再（ふたゝび）呼回（よびかへさ）ん
とするの術（じゆつ）にて。脊（せ）を打（うち）て内に響（ひゞき）
の徹（とほる）も。この心肺（しんぱい）へこたへさするためなり。
よくこれらの意を得てこれを行べし。
また鞴（ふいご）を以て。気を肛（こう）門へ吹こむか。
芩吹（きせる）の大頭（ひざら）を去（さつ）て。吸管（すいくち）のかたを肛門
へさしこみ。別（べつ）の煙管（きせる）をとりて。煙（けふり）を口
にふくみ。肛門（こうもん）へつよく。吹入るもよし。
嚏（くさめ）ぐすりには。皀莢（さうけう）。細辛（さいしん）二味の細末（さいまつ）。胡
椒（せう）の末（こ）。萆撥（ひはつ）の末。瓜蒂末（くわていのこ）。木藜蘆（くさめぐさ）の
末。白芥子末などを用ひてよし。いさゝかも
気息（いき）かよふとみば。冷（ひや）水を面（かほ）へふきかけ。
又は醋（す）を鉄器（てつき）。石 瓦（かはら）の焼（やき）たるか。炭火（すみび）に
そゝぎて。その烟（けふり）を薫（ふすべ）かくるか。醋（す）の気（き）つ
よきものに。磠砂（どうしや）を入てのまするか。天
枢（すう）。臍下（ほそのした）。または前にいふ八薔の灸な
どをするがよし。生気（しやうき）復（つき）たりしも。脉（みやく）
なほ微（かすか）にして。四肢（てあし）冷（ひゆ）ること甚しきは。
附子（ぶし）。人参（にんじん）。おの〳〵二匁。乾姜（かんきやう）。甘草（かんざう）お
の〳〵一匁に。水一合八勺入七勺に煎じ。
少しづゝのますべし。諸卒死（もろ〳〵のそくし）とも。この
旨（むね）を領解（がてん）したる後（のち）には。時（とき）に応（おう）じた
る裁量（はからひ）も出るものなり。嘗（かつ）て三歳
の女子の滞食（しよくたい）して気息（いき）の絶（たえ）たる
ものに。小 粒（つぶ）の紫円（しえん）三百 粒（りう）許（ばかり）を舌上（したのうへ）に
入て。湯（ゆ）をつよく吹入しかば。やうやく
に下降（さがり）たりと見えしが。時すぎて下（くだ）
利（り）を得て治したりしなり。これらのこと
もよく考（かんがへ）あはすべしむ【むは白抜文字】蜈蚣（むかで）に咬れ
たるも。前の犬に咬れたるものと同じ
現代語訳
吹き入れるのである。このようにするのは、胸の内にある肺臓の呼吸を出し入れする働きが絶えたものを回復させるためにすることであるから、よくその意図を理解して行うべきである。膻中といって両乳房の真ん中は、平常は鍼をすべきでない所であるが、卒死の者には深くこの所へ鍼を一寸余りも骨を貫いて刺して、生を回復させるべきである。鍼医が秘伝とすることがある。これは心臓を刺して、絶えた働きを再び呼び戻そうとする術で、背を打って内に響きが通るのも、この心肺にこたえさせるためである。よくこれらの意図を理解してこれを行うべきである。
また鞴を使って、気を肛門へ吹き込むか、煙管の火皿を取り去って、吸い口の方を肛門へ差し込み、別の煙管を取って、煙を口に含み、肛門へ強く吹き入れるのもよい。
くしゃみ薬には、皀莢、細辛二味の細末、胡椒の末、萆撥の末、瓜蒂末、木藜蘆の末、白芥子末などを用いてよい。少しでも
気息が通うと見れば、冷水を顔へふりかけ、また酢を鉄器、石瓦の焼けたものか、炭火に注いで、その煙を薫じかけるか、酢の気の強いものに磠砂を入れて飲ませるか、天枢、臍下、または前に言う八薔の灸などをするのがよい。生気が回復しても、脈がなお微弱で、手足の冷えることが甚だしいものは、附子、人参、おのおの二匁、乾姜、甘草おのおの一匁に、水一合八勺を入れ七勺に煎じ、少しずつ飲ませるべきである。諸々の卒死とも、この趣旨を理解した後には、時に応じた判断も出るものである。かつて三歳の女子が食滞して気息の絶えたものに、小粒の紫円三百粒ばかりを舌上に入れて、湯を強く吹き入れたところ、ようやく下降したと見えたが、時が過ぎて下痢を得て治したのである。これらのことも、よく考え合わせるべきである。蜈蚣に咬まれたのも、前の犬に咬まれたものと同じ

For sneezing medicines, one may use fine powders of gleditsia and asarum, powdered black pepper, powdered long pepper, powdered melon pedicel, powdered veratrum, powdered white mustard seed, and such. If even slightly
breath can be seen to flow, sprinkle cold water on the face, or pour vinegar on heated iron implements, fired stone tiles, or charcoal fire and have them inhale the smoke, or have them drink vinegar with strong vapors mixed with copper sand, or apply moxa to Tenshu, below the navel, or the eight sores mentioned earlier. Even when vital energy has returned, if the pulse is still faint and the limbs are severely cold, take 2 monme each of aconite and ginseng, 1 monme each of dried ginger and licorice, add 1 go 8 shaku of water, decoct to 7 shaku, and have them drink it little by little. With all various sudden deaths, after understanding these principles, appropriate judgment according to the situation will emerge.
