現代語訳

諭祭の文二通を捧げ持ち、竜亭の内に奉安する。また、齎賜の絹帛二百端、白銀二百両を捧げ持ち、彩亭の内に奉安する。衆官は班列を整え、三跪九叩頭の礼を行い終えた後、前導して安里橋に到着する。世曽孫は皂袍角帯を身に着け、衆官を率いて橋頭の道の左側で迎え伏する。

竜亭はしばらく停止する。世子と衆官は平身する。天使は前に進み、竜亭の左右に分かれて立つ。通事官が「排班」と唱える。世曽孫は衆官を率いて、三跪九叩頭の礼を行い終えた後、世曽孫は衆官を率いて前導し、廟門の外に到着する。

竜亭は中門から入り、廟内の中堂に到着する。彩亭内の銀絹を、先王位前の案上に分列する。天使は随行して入り、左右に立つ。捧軸官は東角門から入り、廟の東辺の門外で西向きに立つ。宣読官と展軸官は西角門から入り、開読台の下に到着して東向きに立つ。司香二人は香案を挙げて竜亭の前に置き、香を添える。世曽孫は衆官を率いて東角門から入り、露台に上がって、各々拝位に就く。三跪九叩頭の礼を行い終えた後、退いて先王神位の下に立ち、西向きになる。捧軸官は廟の東辺の門から廟の中堂に入る。天使はまず「諭祭先王尚貞」の文を取って授ける。捧軸官は高く挙げて廟中から出て、開読台に上がる。宣読官がこれに次ぎ、展軸官もまたこれに次ぐ。捧軸官は台に上がり案の右に立つ。宣読官は開読の位に就き、展軸官は案の左に立ち、捧軸官と対になって展開する。通事官が「開読」と唱える。世曽孫と衆官は皆、先王神位の下で俯伏し、北向きになる。

The two imperial sacrificial texts are carried and reverently placed inside the dragon pavilion. Additionally, the bestowed gifts of two hundred bolts of silk and two hundred taels of silver are carried and reverently placed inside the colorful pavilion. The assembled officials arrange themselves in formation and complete the ritual of three kneelings and nine kowtows, then proceed with an escort to Anri Bridge. The great-great-grandson, wearing a black robe with horn belt, leads the assembled officials to prostrate themselves in welcome on the left side of the road at the bridge head.

The dragon pavilion pauses briefly. The heir apparent and assembled officials rise. The Imperial Envoys step forward and stand to the left and right of the dragon pavilion. The interpreter official calls out "Form ranks." The great-great-grandson leads the assembled officials in performing the ritual of three kneelings and nine kowtows. After completion, the great-great-grandson leads the assembled officials as an escort to arrive outside the temple gates.

The dragon pavilion enters through the central gate and arrives at the central hall inside the temple. The silver and silk from inside the colorful pavilion are arranged on the table in front of the Former King's position. The Imperial Envoys follow and enter, standing to the left and right. The scroll-bearing official enters through the eastern corner gate and stands facing west outside the gate on the eastern side of the temple. The proclamation-reading official and scroll-unrolling official enter through the western corner gate, arrive below the reading platform, and stand facing east. Two incense attendants lift the incense table and place it in front of the dragon pavilion, adding incense. The great-great-grandson leads the assembled officials through the eastern corner gate, ascends to the open terrace, and each takes their obeisance position. After completing the ritual of three kneelings and nine kowtows, they withdraw to stand below the Former King's spirit position, facing west. The scroll-bearing official enters the temple's central hall through the gate on the eastern side of the temple. The Imperial Envoy first takes the text "Imperial Sacrifice to Former King Shō Tei" and presents it. The scroll-bearing official raises it high and exits from the temple center, ascending the reading platform. The proclamation-reading official follows, and the scroll-unrolling official also follows. The scroll-bearing official ascends the platform and stands to the right of the table. The proclamation-reading official takes the reading position, the scroll-unrolling official stands to the left of the table, and together with the scroll-bearing official, they unfurl the document. The interpreter official calls out "Begin reading." The great-great-grandson and all assembled officials prostrate themselves below the Former King's spirit position, facing north.
