現代語訳

闕庭の中に。彩亭が左右に分列する。天使が竜亭の左右に分立する。捧詔官・捧勅官が殿の階段の下に立つ。宣読官が開読台の下に立つ。司香の者が香案を竜亭の前に挙げて香を添える。楽を奏する。引礼官が世子を引いて、東階により上がり、香案の前に詣る。

楽が止む。引礼官が「跪け」と唱える。衆官がそれぞれ拝位に就いて皆跪く。引礼官が「上香」と唱える。案の右の司香の者が香を捧げ、跪いて世子の左に進む。三度香を上げ終わると、俯伏して起き上がり平身する。楽を奏する。引礼官が世子を引いて、露台に出て拝位に就く。衆官を率いて三跪九叩頭拝詔の礼を行う。終わって平身する。楽が止む。天使が前に詣り、正中に立つ。捧詔官・捧勅官が東階により上がる。天使が詔を取って捧詔官に授け、勅を取って捧勅官に授ける。高く挙げて殿の階段を下る。宣読官と共に開読台に上る。

詔・勅をともに案の上に置く。通事官が「開読」と唱える。楽が止む。引礼官が「跪け」と唱える。世子・衆官が皆跪く。捧詔勅官が順次対展し、宣読官が順序に読み終える。引礼官が「平身」と唱える。世子・衆官が皆平身する。楽を奏する。捧詔勅官がそれぞれ詔・勅を捧げて殿の階段に上がる。天使がそのまま竜亭の中に奉安する。捧詔勅官が東階を下る。国王及び衆官が、三跪九叩頭謝封の礼を行い終わって、平身する。楽が止む。天使が制を宣して曰く。

In the ceremonial court. The decorated pavilions are arranged in formation on the left and right. The Imperial Envoys take positions on the left and right of the dragon palanquin. The edict-bearing official and imperial decree-bearing official stand below the palace steps. The proclamation official stands below the reading platform. The incense attendants raise the incense table in front of the dragon palanquin and add incense. Music is performed. The ceremony guide leads the crown prince up the eastern stairs to approach the front of the incense table.

The music stops. The ceremony guide calls out "Kneel." The officials each take their prostration positions and all kneel. The ceremony guide calls out "Offer incense." The incense attendant on the right side of the table holds up incense, kneels and advances to the left of the crown prince. After offering incense three times, he prostrates himself, rises, and assumes standing position. Music is performed. The ceremony guide leads the crown prince out to the open terrace to take his prostration position. Leading the officials, he performs the ceremony of three kneelings and nine kowtows to venerate the edict. After completion, they assume standing position. The music stops. The Imperial Envoy approaches the front and stands in the center. The edict-bearing official and imperial decree-bearing official ascend via the eastern stairs. The Imperial Envoy takes the edict and hands it to the edict-bearing official, takes the imperial decree and hands it to the imperial decree-bearing official. Holding them high, they descend the palace steps. Together with the proclamation official, they ascend the reading platform.

Both the edict and imperial decree are placed on the table. The interpreter official calls out "Open and read." The music stops. The ceremony guide calls out "Kneel." The crown prince and officials all kneel. The edict and decree-bearing officials unfold them in sequence, and the proclamation official reads them in order to completion. The ceremony guide calls out "Stand." The crown prince and officials all assume standing position. Music is performed. The edict and decree-bearing officials each carry the edict and imperial decree up the palace steps. The Imperial Envoy then reverently places them in the dragon palanquin. The edict and decree-bearing officials descend the eastern stairs. The king and officials perform the ceremony of three kneelings and nine kowtows to express gratitude for the investiture, and after completion, assume standing position. The music stops. The Imperial Envoy proclaims the imperial command, saying:
