皇-文丕￣ニ-振￣フ。復膺＿二外-翰￣ノ之権＿一。
　隆＿二￣ニシ体-統￣ヲ於藩-臣＿一￣ニ。安＿レ￣シテ内￣ヲ而兼￣テ攘＿レ￣フ外￣ヲ。

現代語訳

二層に入る。雑衣郎は転じて外の一層に出て、手舞足踏みし、回旋して節となすこと四、五回。順次に旋転して退場する。これを第四宴とする。

餞別の宴を第五宴とする。儀礼は前の通り。また国中の故事一、二話を増して楽となす。

拝辞の宴を第六宴とする。儀礼は前の如く戯楽を増す。宴が終わると、国王は客を送って府を出る。守礼坊の外に至り、更に世子第の中に小座を設ける。手ずから三杯の酒を奉じて別れとする。

望舟の宴を第七宴とする。国王は天使館に至って宴を設ける。礼は前儀の如し。直々に金扇一握りを贈って別れとする。臣等の宴礼が既に終わり、吉日を選んで封舟に乗り込み風を待つ。帰朝して復命する。中山王尚敬は、陪臣法司王舅紫金大夫等を遣わし、表を持参して恩を謝する。並びに貢物は常年の貢船一号に自ら附して、封舟に随って同じく出発する。

中山王謝恩の表
琉球国中山王臣尚敬、誠に歓び誠に喜び、稽首頓首して謹んで表を奉じて上言いたします。伏して思いますに、聖武広く昭らかにして、特に内屛の任を重んじられ、皇文大いに振るい、復た外翰の権を担われました。藩臣に体統を隆んにし、内を安んじて外を攘うことを兼ねられます。

second layer. The mixed-robe men rotate and emerge to the outer first layer, dancing with hands and stamping feet, circling to create rhythm four or five times. They rotate in sequence and exit. This constitutes the fourth banquet.

The farewell banquet serves as the fifth banquet. The ceremonies are as before. Additionally, one or two historical tales from the country are added as entertainment.

The departure audience banquet serves as the sixth banquet. The ceremonies increase the theatrical entertainment as before. When the banquet ends, the king escorts the guests out of the palace. Upon reaching outside Shureimon Gate, a small reception is further arranged in the Crown Prince's residence. The king personally offers three cups of sake as farewell.

The ship-viewing banquet serves as the seventh banquet. The king comes to the Imperial Envoy's lodge to hold a banquet. The ceremonies are as in previous rites. He directly presents a handful of golden fans as farewell gifts. When the banquets and ceremonies for us officials are completed, we select an auspicious day to board the investiture ship and await favorable winds. We return to court to report on our mission. King Shō Kei of Chūzan dispatches attending officials including the Chief Justice, Royal Uncle, and Purple-Gold Rank officials, carrying a memorial to express gratitude for the imperial grace. Along with tribute goods, they attach themselves to the regular annual tribute ship and depart together with the investiture ship.

The King of Chūzan of the Ryukyu Kingdom, vassal Shō Kei, with sincere joy and sincere delight, kowtowing and bowing his head, respectfully presents this memorial with the following words: Humbly reflecting that Your Sacred Martial Virtue shines broadly, specially emphasizing the duties of inner protection, Your Imperial Literary Accomplishments greatly flourish, again assuming the authority of external governance. You have elevated the dignity among feudal vassals, pacifying the interior while simultaneously repelling external threats.
