いとやすし誰（たれ）かある天狗ともを召寄よと呼
はり給へば五官王しばしと押とめいや〳〵此評
議宜かるまし情を知らぬ天狗ども力にまか
せ引抓（ひつつかむ）でもし疵（きず）付ては悔（くやん）で返らずそれより
疫神（やくじん）を遣さるゝが近道ならんと申さるれば変（へん）
生（ぜう）王かぶり打ふりイヤ〳〵疫病神（やくびやうがみ）といへどものふ
さんころり山椒味噌（さんしよみそ）と手 短（みしか）に殺（ころす）事はなりがた
し大陽経（たいやうけい）から段々伝経（でんけい）をしている内には大
王御待遠なるべければ疫病神は御無用たるべし一向
それより近道は今世上に沢山なる医者（いしや）ども
に申付れば一ふくにてもやり付る事疫神
などのおよぶべき所にあらず此使は医者共
に申付んと申さるれば皆尤とうなづき先よく殺
医者は誰々ならんと評定ありけるに一向文盲
なる医者はこはがつてめつたなる薬はもらず
何見せても六君子湯（りつくんしとう）益気湯の類一腹の
掛目わづか五分か七分の薬にて白湯（さゆ）に香煎（かうせん）
も同前つまる所は一ふくで何分ツヽのわりを以
謝礼（しやれい）をせしめる計にて毒（どく）にもならず薬にも
ならざれはそろ〳〵干（ほし）べりのするは格別（かくべつ）急に

とても簡単です。誰かある天狗どもを召し寄せよ」と呼ばわりなさると、五官王が「しばしお待ちを」と押し止めて「いやいや、この評議は宜しくありません。情を知らない天狗どもが力に任せて引っ掴んで、もし傷を付けてしまっては悔やんでも取り返しがつきません。それよりも疫神を遣わす方が近道でしょう」と申されると、変生王が頭を振って「いやいや、疫病神といえども、ふさん頃ろり山椒味噌と手短に殺すことは難しいものです。太陽経から段々と伝経をしている間には、大王もお待ち遠しくなるでしょうから、疫病神は御無用でしょう。一層のこと、それより近道は今世間に沢山いる医者どもに申し付ければ、一服にてもやり付けることは疫神などの及ぶところではありません。この使いは医者どもに申し付けましょう」と申されると、皆もっともだとうなずき、「さて、よく殺す医者は誰々だろうか」と評定があった。
