約束の刻限になったので、木戸口はどやどやもやもやと、錐を立てる地面もないほどで、まことに天地開闢以来このような大仕組みはあるまいと、知る人も知らない人も、老いた人も若い人も、我こそはという人々が群集した。式三番も終わり、お定まりの口上も相済んだので、これより「天浮橋瓊矛日記」一番目より段々と狂言の本格的な内容に入り、程なく第三番目に至って、天児屋命は磤馭盧丸（本名伊弉諸尊）の役、天鈿女命は傾城浮橋（本名伊弉冊尊）として、積もり積もった揚代三白両の金の代わりに天瓊矛を揚屋の方へ取られてしまったのを、太玉命は大戸之道尊の役として、両人の瓊矛について詮議なさる検使の役である。ここで検使の厳しさと両人の愁いの場面で、諸見物は感動に堪えかねて「いよう、おらが鈿女のよ」「いよう、児屋様」「太玉様」など、桟敷も下座も声々に、しばらく鳴り止まなかった。この時、天照大神が聞し召して、下地は好ましく、たまらずに御手をもって磐戸を細目に開けてこれを窺い見なさった。折よしと三人の尊が立ち寄って岩戸を開こうと手をかけなさると、大神は閉めようとなさる。互いに「えいや」と引き合う勝負は、さらに決着がつかなかった。その時、向こうの切幕から「しばらく、しばらく」と掛け声が
