人なれば竜王見給ひ人 間界（けんかい）の様子いかに〳〵とせめ
給ふ其時さゞえにじり出て申けるは私は小田原町から
通り筋を一へん廻り候が先 珍（めつら）しきは石町の角に朝（てう）
鮮（せん）人 行列（きやうれつ）附の看板（かんはん）をおひたゝしくかさりたて売子
大勢にて売あるき又 珍説（ちんせつ）は旦那（たんな）のねつた膏薬（かうやく）
売（うり）が奥州の相馬にて主の敵（かたき）を討しとの取沙汰よ
り外さして替りたる事も承らずと申上れば竜王
大にいかりをなし汝等 評議（ひやうぎ）は何としてケ様の役に
立ず共を忍びには遣せしそ此方の入用は菊之丞が
船遊（ふなあそび）の日限（にちげん）なるに其事は聞すして役にも立ぬ事
どもを見て帰りしとていかめしそふに申段言語
同断につくいやつ是と云ふも家老用人共か面々の
身勝手計を考へて下々の難儀はかへりみず鰮（いわし）や
すばしりの類を沢山（たくさん）してやろふと計心がけて役
儀をおろそかにするゆへかゝる大事に魚らしきもの
もやらすさゞえや蜆をやりし段以の外の不届と
鱗（うろこ）をさか立 怒（いか）り給へは其時 鯨（くじら）鰭（ひれ）をうごかし仰
御尤には候得共遣べきもの詮議（せんぎ）致せど他の者は
水を離（はな）れては働（はたらく）こと相ならねは水を出て息（いき）の長
