き人を恋しとふされば古歌にも汭潭（いりぶち）に偃（ふし）
たる公（きみ）をけふ〳〵と来んと待らん妻がかなしも
と詠ぜしも我身の上とかきくどく歎（なげき）は浜（はま）の
真砂（まさご）にてかきつくされぬ筆の海聞人袖を
ぞしをりけり

爰に爪（つめ）とらす髪（かみ）ゆはず朽葉衣（くちばころも）
に世をのがれたる人あり自 天竺（てんじく）浪
人と称す此人 横（よこ）ぐわへに草をかんで
其毒気一角となる其長さ三
寸ばかり其角 額（ひたい）にあらず頭（かしら）に
あらず常（つね）は 唇（くちひる）に隠（かくれ）て見へず
といへども今此根南志草を味ふ
におよんで其角長きこと三 丈（たけ）

き人を恋しく思うと言うのであれば、古歌にも「入江の奥で伏している君を、今日今日と来るだろうと待っている妻が悲しいことよ」と詠んだのも我が身の上のことと、かきくどく嘆きは浜の真砂のように書き尽くされない筆の海で、聞く人は袖を濡らしたのであった。
