　　衆之名前都合書付三通同人ゟ能登守え差出ス
一　熨斗蚫家来持出引茶持懸ケ御先手会釈之

　　上意を申し述べることが済みますと、能登守は一畳ほど下がって着座し、また
　　自分がお受けに参り出た際は、元の通り上座に着座いたしました。
一、御医師の辻元為春院、曲直瀬養安院の両人が出座し、
　　病状を申し述べました。
一、御先手の花房大内蔵から病状書、御医師の名前を読み上げている
　　人々の名前、都合書付三通を同人から能登守へ差し出しました。
一、熨斗鮑を家来が持ち出し、引茶を持ち掛けましたが、御先手が会釈の
　　上で辞退の旨を申し聞かせ、給仕を引きました。
一、自分が勝手の方に控えている辺りに御先手が参り越し、お受けの件を
　　申し聞かせました。
一、最初の通り敷居外で扇子を取り置き、図の如く進み出て
　　「左衛門尉の病気が重篤につき、
　　上使をお遣わしくださり、
　　お見舞い、冥加至極ありがたい仕合わせと存じます。お受けの件、
　　よろしく」と申し述べました。
　　「言上いたします」旨を能登守が申し聞かせ、すぐに自分も座を立ち、
　　扇子を差し、先立ちいたし、この度も
　　上使の右の方、地覆際まで送り、能登守の会釈が済みました。

　　When the imperial message was delivered, Noto-no-kami moved down about one tatami mat and was seated, and
　　when I came out to receive the envoy, he was seated in the upper position as before.
1. The court physicians Tsujimoto Ishun-in and Manase Yōan-in both came forward
　　and reported on the patient's condition.
1. From the advance guard Hanabusa Ōkura, a medical report and the names of the physicians were read out,
　　and three copies of documents listing the names of those present were submitted from him to Noto-no-kami.
1. A retainer brought out noshi-awabi (ceremonial dried abalone), and tea service was offered, but the advance guard politely
　　declined with a bow, and the service was withdrawn.
1. The advance guard came over to where I was waiting in the service area and
　　informed me about the reception arrangements.
