一、玄関の敷き出しに出ていた下総大蔵も、自分と一緒に元の
座に戻り、案内人に挨拶を申し述べました。
一、家老も参り出て挨拶を申し聞かせました。
一、老中だけに、左衛門尉の名代としてお礼回りを頼まれたので、
直ちに供揃えを申し付け、下総大蔵にも挨拶を申し述べて退散しました。
ただし口上書は先方で用意し、刀番の者に取り次ぎを
坊主から伝えました。
一、縮帷子芭蕉布の上下に着替えました。
一、下総は大膳大夫のお礼の名代回りを頼まれたとのことです。
一、上使の件は九つ半時頃までに済みました。
一、回勤の道順で最後に阿部伊勢殿の門前で、大膳大夫の
留守居が控えているので、回勤が滞りなく済んだ旨を、乗り物のところで
自分から申し聞かせておきました。

seat and offered greetings to the guide.

I immediately ordered the escort to be prepared, offered greetings to Shimōsa-no-Ōkura as well, and departed.
However, the formal statement was prepared by the other party, and the sword-keeper
was informed through a monk to handle the arrangements.
