上使があって白米千俵を給った。二十八日、尚寧が登城し、台徳院殿に謁見申し上げ、鈍子百疋、芭蕉布百疋、太平布二百疋を献上し、拝礼して退いた。緞子百疋、白銀千枚、長光の太刀を献上し、 太刀一腰、馬一匹、糸百斤を大猷院殿に献上し、拝礼が終わって九月十一日、家久と尚寧に饗宴を給い、後に上使を桜田の宅へ下し遣わされ、御馬を家久に賜り、帰国の御暇があった。二十日、家久は尚寧を引き連れて

An imperial envoy came and bestowed one thousand bales of white rice. On the twenty-eighth day, Shō Nei went up to the castle, had an audience with Taitoku-in-dono, presented one hundred rolls of donsu silk, one hundred rolls of banana fiber cloth, and two hundred rolls of taihei cloth, performed his prostrations and withdrew. He presented one hundred rolls of damask, one thousand pieces of silver, and a Nagamitsu sword, and presented one sword, one horse, and one hundred kin of thread to Daiyū-in-dono. After completing his prostrations, on the eleventh day of the ninth month, a banquet was given to Iehisa and Shō Nei.
