人参代として百八両、銀にして六十四貫八百目。千両の身代がこっきりやっつけられて、上の四貫八百目、諸道具を売って息子の葬送をようやく済ませて、百ヶ日の茶湯に油揚げさえ買えないようにしたのは、あの人参仲買人に剥ぎ取られたためである。実にひどい仕方だ。
