わづらひける所に加茂茂斎こそ老医（らうい）の功者（こうしや）なり
といふものあればやれそれと其まゝ早うちにて呼（よび）
むかへし所に茂斎 胗脈（しんみやく）のうへ其召上られし蕎麦（そば）
切（きり）を一 膳（ぜん）もち来れといへば茂斎そば切を試（こゝろみ）てやう
やあると暫時（ざんじ）に八寸にとゝのへ出しければ是が殿（との）の
御 膳（ぜん）かといへばいやそなたの膳なりといふ手前はそ
ばきりたべには来（こ）ぬ殿の御膳に仕立（したて）て急（いそ）ぎもら
来れといへば何れもおどろき胡乱（うろたへ）ておづ〳〵早速（さつそく）
仕立（したて）てもち出ければ殿に向ふて此そばきり今一
膳聞し召れ候へと申は殿 顔（かほ）をうちふりて中〳〵一
口も召上らるべきていならねば茂斎 声（こえ）をはげまし
此 蕎麦切（そばきり）召上られねば療治（りやうぢ）の法なし是非（せび） 今一口（いまひとくち）
とおしていだき起（た）てければくるしげに一口くちへ向
はせらるゝと其まゝ噦（ゑつ）といふて吐出（はきいだ）されたれは上り
し所の蕎麦切（そばきり）のこらずめつきり吐（はき）出されてあら
心やすやと胸痛（けうつう）腹痛（ふくつう）一時に止（やみ）て上下 萬歳（ばんぜい）をとなへ
