鶏が鳴／吾妻（あがつま）はやと千早振神の教の和事（やわらぎ）
より相聞（いろごと）の根に通ひ由縁（ゆかり）ある江戸紫の
冶郎（やらう）帽子（ぼうし）はことにその色香も深からず
やとりわき此道の聖（ひじり）とあふぐ市川瀬川の
両流はその源遠くその末広して流をくみ取
人多ければ浪速（なには）のみつと聞とにつけて芦町の
よしあしをいはず花房町のあたなる散（ちり）の
わかれには酒島のわきかへる胸（むね）をこがし底倉（そこくら）

鶏が鳴く吾妻はやとの千早振る神の教えの和らぎより、相聞（恋歌）の根に通い、縁ある江戸紫の若衆や遊女は、ことにその色香も深くはないが、とりわけこの道の聖人と仰ぐ市川・瀬川の両流派は、その源が遠く、その末が広がって、流れを汲み取る人が多いので、難波の澪標と聞くにつけても、芦町の良し悪しを言わず、花房町のあたりの散りの別れには、酒島の沸きかえる胸を焦がし、底倉（文章が途切れている）
