（前頁より続く）ゆえなり。もし貧しい客が私の糞を食らえば、たちまち黄金の蜣螂（ふんころがし）となるであろう。
いつもの長糞（長々とした駄文）に退屈のあまり、この無駄書き（本書）をなして、硬い糞を軟らかい糞のずるりとした柔らかさに和らげ、世に
その糞の放り様を伝えるとて「通客」という者も、私の股倉を覗かずして、どうして尻の穴の広いことを知ろうか。ああ、糞が呆れたものではないか。

Grown weary of my usual long-winded droppings, I have composed this trivial scribbling so as to soften the hard turds with the slipperiness of loose ones, and to pass on to the world
the manner of relieving oneself—yet even those who call themselves "connoisseurs of the quarter" (tsūkyaku), without ever peering between my thighs, how could they ever know the breadth of my fundament? Ah, is not this dung a wonder to behold?
