風（かぜ）吹（ふき）、廿九日の明（あ）け方（がた）に右（みぎ）の無人島（むにんとう）へ吹付（ふきつけ）申候。大船（おほふね）は殊（こと）の外（ほか）痛（いた）み有＿レ
之候 処（ところ）へ吹付（ふきつけ）候 節（せつ）も強（つよ）く岩（いは）に中（あた）り候ゆへ、廿九日 夜明（よあ）け方（がた）破船（はせん）仕候。
彼（か）の島（しま）に在命（ざいめい）のもの三人有＿レ之、右（みぎ）のもの共（ども）に面会（めんくわい）いたしおしへを受（う）け、
右三人のもの差図（さしづ）仕り、拾残（ひろひのこ）し有＿レ之候 飯米道具（はんまいだうぐ）をてんま小舟（こぶね）へ積（つ）み入、
右 船（ふね）とも早速（さツそく）島（しま）へ取上（とりあ）げ申候。右三人の者（もの）も私どもてんま小船（こぶね）に便（びん）
船（せん）致（いた）させ、彼島（かのしま）を未四月廿七日 出帆（しゆツぱん）仕り、五月 朔日（つひたち）八丈 島（しま）へ着船（ちやくせん）仕（つかまつ）り、夫（それ）
より御用船（ごようせん）にて出国（しゆツこく）仰付（あふせつけ）られ難＿レ有 仕合（しあはせ）奉＿レ存候。私共（わたくしども）吹流（ふきなが）され候 難風（なんぶう）

【右丁】
風が吹き、二十九日の明け方に右の無人島へ吹き付けられました。大船は殊の外痛んでいたところに吹き付けられた際も強く岩に当たりましたので、二十九日夜明け方に破船いたしました。
その島に生存している者三人がおり、右の者どもに面会いたし教えを受け、右三人の者の指図により、拾い残してあった飯米道具を伝馬小舟に積み入れ、右の船とも早速島へ取り上げ申しました。右三人の者も私どもの伝馬小舟に便乗させ、その島を未四月二十七日に出帆いたし、五月朔日に八丈島へ着船いたし、それより御用船にて出国を仰せ付けられ、有り難い仕合せと存じます。私どもが吹き流された難風の義、右三人の者どもの助命の次第を申し上げます。その外の義は右三人の者どもが委細に申し上げました趣と少しも相違はございません。以上。

winds continued to blow, and at dawn on the twenty-ninth day we were blown against the aforementioned uninhabited island. The large ship was extremely damaged, and when we were blown against it, we struck the rocks forcefully, so at dawn on the twenty-ninth day the ship was wrecked.
There were three surviving people on that island. We met with these people and received their guidance. Following the instructions of these three people, we loaded the remaining rice and tools onto a small transport boat and immediately brought the boat up onto the island. We also had these three people board our small transport boat as passengers, departed from that island on the twenty-seventh day of the fourth month of the Year of the Sheep, and arrived at Hachijo Island on the first day of the fifth month. From there we were ordered to leave the country on an official ship, which we consider a most fortunate turn of events. We report on the severe winds that blew us off course and the circumstances of how these three people's lives were saved. Regarding other matters, there is no difference whatsoever from what these three people reported in detail. The above.
