し、前例（ぜんれい）の如（ごと）く埋葬（まいそう）の式（しき）を終（をは）りけるが重（かさ）ね〳〵の世話（せわ）なれば薬価（やくか）又は
人夫（にんぷ）の賃等（ちんとう）を納（おさ）めんと言（い）ひしかども彼（かれ）は固（かた）く謝絶（しやぜつ）して受取（うけと）らざりき。
同二月 朔（ついたち）、我国風（わがこくふう）に仕立（したて）たる綸子（りんず）縮緬（ちりめん）綿入（わたいれ）羽織（ばおり）清様（シンやう）の細袴（はかま）一 足（そく）の沓（くつ）
足袋（たび）を添（そ）へて謝永泰（シヤユイタイ）より一同に贈（おく）り与（あた）へけるが、これは公局（コンキウ）范局（ハンキウ）の主（しゆ）
人（じん）より送（おく）り越（こ）せしものなりといふ。公局（コンキウ）は日本 通商（つうしやう）十二 家（か）の荷主（にぬし）、范（ハン）
局（キウ）は范氏（ハンし）の荷主（にぬし）なり。且（か）つ十二 家（か）の荷主（にぬし）の内（うち）なりとて、蘇州（ソしう）より沈雲瞻（チンウンセン）
といふもの來（きた）り出帆（しゆつぱん）まで、いと懇切（こんせつ）に周旋（しうせん）の労（ろう）を取（と）りたり。
帰航（きかう）の日（ひ）も近（ちか）きにあれて、暇乞（いちまごい）として、同月四日に、先（さ）きに年賀（ねんが）に回（まは）り
