この二神が出現するときは諸人が恐れ敬い、家々で祀り、また玉城より五色の傘を持った官人百人ばかりが出て、神を城内に迎え入れ、種々の美酒珍菓を供え、立花燈明を捧げて国王自らが祀り、民の安穏を祈る。七日の間傘をさしかけておく。その傘は様々に色どり美しく飾られており、長さ四五丈、凡そ二十尋にも及ぶであろう。短いものでも二丈ぐらい、およそ百本ばかりをそれぞれ広庭に立てておく。諸人は門前まで行って遥拝する。

"Kimitesuri" - A deity that appears once every seven years
"Yomikameri" - A deity that appears once every twelve years
When these two deities appear, all people fear and revere them, worshipping them in their homes. About one hundred officials carrying five-colored umbrellas come out from Tamagusuku to welcome the deities into the castle, offering various fine wines and rare delicacies, presenting flower arrangements and lanterns, with the king himself performing worship and praying for the people's peace. For seven days, umbrellas are held over them. These umbrellas are beautifully decorated in various colors, with lengths of four to five jo (about 12-15 meters), spanning roughly twenty hiro (about 36 meters). Even the shorter ones are about two jo long, with approximately one hundred umbrellas erected in the spacious courtyards. People go to the gates to worship from afar.
