現代語訳
相成ったので糯米半俵を御下しになるよう仕たく申し談じたところ、差し出す旨を申し聞かせ、当人にも心得のため申し聞かせ置いた。
一、江戸表から御飛脚が到来したところ、岡田豊八のことについては正月十五日に着いたところを相尋ね、三浦郡小網代村にて同所まで遣わされたところ、御用が相済んで江戸表に着いたとのこと。
一、下役助八については今以てどちらに居るのか分からないにつき、大久保村の御蔵の倅にでも掛塚まで差し遣わすよう十郎兵衛殿の御沙汰につき、早速呼び出すよう孫市に申し聞かせた。罷り出たならば掛塚の様子を承り罷り帰るよう沙汰し、路用として金壱両を相渡すよう孫市に申し聞かせた。
一、九郎右衛門について六道原地に桐植付け■■■【虫損】間、漸々御沙汰が相成った。
八日
一、大般若の御札を例年の通り今日御下しになり、御礼申し上げた。

It was arranged that half a bale of glutinous rice would be distributed. When we discussed this matter, we were told to submit the request, and we also informed the person concerned for his knowledge.
One item: A courier arrived from Edo. Regarding Okada Toyohachi, who arrived on the 15th of the first month, upon inquiry, he was sent to Koajiro village in Miura district, and after completing his official duties there, he returned to Edo.
One item: Regarding subordinate official Sukehachi, his whereabouts are still unknown. According to Lord Jūrobei's instructions, even the son of the warehouse keeper of Ōkubo village should be sent to Kaketsuka. We instructed Magoichi to summon him immediately. If he appears, he should inquire about the situation in Kaketsuka and return. We instructed Magoichi to give him one ryō in gold as travel expenses.
One item: Regarding Kurōemon's planting of paulownia trees in the Rokudōhara area ■■■ [insect damage], instructions were gradually given.
