弟 御おきてのまんだめんとは何ケ条有や
師 十ケ条也 是即二に分る也初の三ケ条は
でうすの御いくはうにあだり奉り今七
ケ条はほろしもたがひの徳の為也
第一御一体のでうすをうやまひたつと
ひ奉るべし
第二貴き御名にかけてむなしきちかひ
すへからす
第三どみんごいはひ日をつとめまもるべし
第四汝の父母にかう〳〵すべし
第五人をころすべからず
第六じやいんをおかすべからず

現代語訳
罪を知ることが専らでございます。
弟子：御掟のマンダメント（戒め）は何ヶ条ございますか。
師：十ヶ条でございます。これは即ち二つに分かれます。初めの三ヶ条は神の御栄光に当たり奉り、今の七ヶ条は隣人同士の徳のためでございます。
第一 御一体の神を敬い尊び奉るべし
第二 貴き御名にかけて虚しき誓いすべからず
第三 ドミンゴ祝い日を努めて守るべし
第四 汝の父母に孝行すべし
第五 人を殺すべからず
第六 邪淫を犯すべからず
第七 盗みをすべからず

Master: There are ten articles. These are divided into two parts. The first three articles pertain to the glory of God, and the remaining seven articles are for the virtue between neighbors.
First: You shall worship and revere the one true God
Second: You shall not make vain oaths in His holy name
Third: You shall diligently observe the Sunday holy day
Fourth: You shall be filial to your father and mother
Fifth: You shall not kill people
Sixth: You shall not commit adultery
Seventh: You shall not steal
