りあひ給ふと云へともきりしたんおほき
が故にをの〳〵一度にこんひさんをきゝ給ふ
事かなはざるにをひては年中に一たびこん
ひさんを申さずとも此まだめんとをそ
むくにはあらずさりながら叶べき時はこん
ひさんを申べし
弟 達してこんひさんを申為に専なる事は
何ぞや
師 専なる事三あり一にはへりくだる事二
には真実しやうぢきにあらはす事三に
は科をのこさゝる事是也
弟 何と様にへりくだるべきや
師 こんひさんを申人我が心中に悪人也とお
もひ科の御ゆるしを蒙るべきくりき
現代語訳
おられると言えども、キリシタンが多いが故に、おのおの一度にコンフィサン（告解）を聞き給う事が叶わないにおいては、年中に一度コンフィサンを申さずとも、このマンダメント（戒め）を蔑ろにするにはあらず。されながら叶うべき時はコンフィサンを申すべし。
弟子：とりわけコンフィサンを申すために肝要なる事は何でしょうか。
師：肝要なる事三つあり。一つには謙る事、二つには真実正直に現わす事、三つには罪を残さざる事、これなり。
弟子：いかなる様に謙るべきでしょうか。
師：コンフィサンを申す人は、我が心中に悪人なりと思い、罪の御赦しを蒙るべきクリキ（聖職者）...
英語訳
...even though [priests] are present, since there are many Christians, when it is impossible for each one to have their confession heard individually, if one does not make confession once during the year, this does not constitute contempt of this mandamento (commandment). Nevertheless, when it is possible, one should make confession.
Disciple: What are the essential matters for making confession properly?
Master: There are three essential matters: first, to be humble; second, to reveal [sins] truthfully and honestly; third, to leave no sins [unconfessed].
Disciple: In what manner should one be humble?
Master: The person making confession should think in their heart that they are a sinner, and [should approach] the cleric who can grant forgiveness of sins...
