なしとわきまへでうすの御前にぢきに
申上奉ると心得深きうやまひをそれをも
てこうくはいし我と身のうたへてとなり
て我が科をさんげすべし
弟 真実しやうぢきにとあるはいかん
師 我がをかさぬ科をあらはさず又はづかし
くおもふゆへか又は何たるしさいによりてな
りとも我が科をかくさず明にさんげし
いまだおもはず又はおもはんとする事ま
でもしろしめしつくし給ふでうすへぢ
きにあらはし奉ると心得べし
弟 もるたる科をのこさずとはいかん
師 我が身のこんしゑんしやをこまかにき
うめいしておもひ出すほどの科をさんげ
現代語訳
なしと弁えて、デウスの御前に直に申し上げ奉ると心得、深き敬いをもってそれを行い、己と身を卑しめて隣人となり、我が罪を懺悔すべし。
弟子：真実正直にとあるはいかん。
師：我が犯さぬ罪を現わさず、また恥ずかしく思う故か、または何たる仔細によりてなりとも、我が罪を隠さず明に懺悔し、いまだ思わず、または思わんとする事までも知り尽くし給うデウスへ直に現わし奉ると心得べし。
弟子：漏れたる罪を残さずとはいかん。
師：我が身の良心者を細かに究明して、思い出すほどの罪を懺悔...

...without [merit], understanding that one makes [confession] directly before God, with deep reverence, humbling oneself and becoming like a neighbor, one should confess one's sins.

Master: One should not reveal sins one has not committed, and regardless of shame or for whatever detailed reason, one should not hide one's sins but confess them clearly, understanding that one reveals them directly to God, who knows completely even things we have not yet thought or will think.
