弟 第五のまだめんとはいかん
師 所のかたぎに随てびすほへなりわひの中
をさゝぐべしとの儀也
○第十 七のもるたる科の事
弟 でうすの御おきてのまだめんとゝさん
たゑけれやのまだめんとをばはや教へ
給ひぬさて又もるたる科はいくつありや
師 科のしなはおほしといへどもよろづの科
のこんげんとなる科は七あり○一にはけ
うまん二にはとんよく三にはじやいん四
にはしんい五にはとんじき六にはしつと七には
けだい是也是をすべてもるたる科と云也
現代語訳
弟子：第五の掟とはいかん。
師：所の慣習に従ってビスホ（司教）へ成り代りの中を捧ぐべしとの儀である。
○第十 七つの大罪の事
弟子：デウス（神）の御掟の掟と、サンタエケレヤ（聖なる教会）の掟とをば既に教え給いぬ。さて又大罪はいくつありや。
師：罪の種類は多しといえども、万の罪の根源となる罪は七つあり。○一には傲慢、二には貪欲、三には邪淫、四には嫉妬、五には大食、六には嫉妬、七には怠慢、これである。これをすべて大罪と言うのである。

Disciple: What is the fifth commandment?
Master: It is the duty to offer donations to the bishop according to local customs.
○Chapter 10: On the Seven Mortal Sins
Disciple: You have already taught us the commandments of Deus (God) and the commandments of Santa Ecclesia (Holy Church). Now, how many mortal sins are there?
Master: Although there are many types of sins, there are seven sins that form the root of all sins. ○First is pride, second is greed, third is lust, fourth is envy, fifth is gluttony, sixth is envy, seventh is sloth. These are all called mortal sins.
