弟 色味の☩せんちいどすはいくつありや
師 五あり是即げんにびぜつしんの事也
弟 是を何とて☩こるほらるせちいどすとは

師 是即身にともなふ物なるが故に身のは
つると共にはつる者也

弟 後生を扶かるべき為には今までしめし
給ふ所のよく物を頼み奉る事達してひい
ですを得奉事と身体をまさしくおさむ
る事此三ケ条計にて悉皆達するやいなや
現代語訳
弟子：肉体の感覚はいくつありますか。
師：五つある。これはすなわち見る、聞く、味わう、触れる、嗅ぐという感覚のことである。
弟子：これをなぜ肉体的感覚というのですか。
師：これはすなわち身体に伴うものであるがゆえに、身体が滅びると共に滅びるものである。
○第十一章 聖なる教会の七つの秘跡について
弟子：後生を救われるためには、今まで示してくださった所の、良き物を頼み奉ること、信仰を得奉ること、身体を正しく治めること、この三か条だけですべて達成できるのでしょうか、そうでないのでしょうか。

Disciple: How many senses of the body are there?
Master: There are five. These are namely the senses of seeing, hearing, tasting, touching, and smelling.
Disciple: Why are these called bodily senses?
Master: Because these accompany the body, they perish when the body perishes.
