師 是れもとものふしん也たがひにせずして
叶はぬ迄のきびしきやくそくあり一には
一度ゑんをむすびて後はなんによともに
りべつし又よの人とまじはる事かつて
叶はざる者也それを如何にと云に生涯まち
りまうによのやくそくはたがひにいつま
でも別るゝ事有まじきとのかたきち
ぎりなれば也
弟 是あまりにきびしき御さだめ也其故は
たがひにきにあはざる事あらん時もり
べつする事叶はざるとの御教へなるに
よて也

師：これも元々不信なり。互いに誓わずして叶わぬほどの厳しき約束あり。一つには、一度縁を結びて後は、何によっても離別し、また他の人と交わる事、決して叶わざる者なり。それを如何にと言うに、生涯マトリモニオ（婚姻）の約束は、互いにいつまでも別るる事有るまじきとの堅き契りなれば也。
弟子：これはあまりに厳しき御定めなり。その故は、互いに気に合わざる事あらん時も、離別する事叶わざるとの御教えなるによってなり。
師：これも元々難しき事なりと見ゆるといえども、マトリモニオ（婚姻）の縁を結ぶ時で

Master: This too is originally a matter of faith. There are strict vows that cannot be fulfilled unless mutually pledged. First, once the bond is formed, separation for any reason whatsoever, or union with another person, is absolutely impossible. The reason for this is that the lifelong promise of Matrimônio (Matrimony) is a firm covenant that the couple shall never part from each other.
Disciple: This is an exceedingly strict ordinance. This is because the teaching states that even when the couple may find each other disagreeable, separation is not permitted.
