ずして叶はざる事おほき也
弟 其儀をうけ給ればこそ御教他にあづかり
たきとぞんずるなれ
師 是我等がねがふ所也○まづきりしたんに
ならるゝ事はいかなる人のしはざとかしれ
るや
弟 でうすのがらさを以きりしたんになる也
師 でうすのがらさをもてとは何事ぞや
弟 其儀をこまかに分別せずねがはくは教へた

師 でうすのからさを以とは我身父母御作の
ものゝ力にあらずたゝでうすの☩御ぼん
だあでと御慈悲と又御主ぜずきりしと
の御功力を以きりしたんに成事也
現代語訳
なくては叶わないことが多いのです。
弟子：そのことを承りましたからこそ、御教えに与りたいと存じます。
師：それこそが我々の願うところです。○まず、キリシタンになることは、どのような人の仕業だと理解していますか。
弟子：デウスの恩寵によってキリシタンになるのです。
師：デウスの恩寵によってとは、どのようなことですか。
弟子：そのことを詳しく理解しておりません。願わくは教えてください。
師：デウスの恩寵によってとは、自分自身や父母が作ったもの（人間的な力）によるのではなく、ただデウスの☩御意志と御慈悲、また御主イエス・キリストの御功徳によってキリシタンになることです。
英語訳
...without it, there are many things that cannot be accomplished.
Disciple: Having received this teaching, I wish to partake in your instruction.
Master: That is exactly what we desire. ○First, do you understand what kind of person's work it is to become a Christian?
Disciple: One becomes a Christian through the grace of Deus.
Master: What does it mean "through the grace of Deus"?
Disciple: I do not understand this matter in detail. Please, I beg you to teach me.
Master: "Through the grace of Deus" means that it is not by the power of oneself or one's parents' creation (human effort), but solely through Deus's ☩ divine will and mercy, and also through the merit and power of our Lord Jesus Christ that one becomes a Christian.
