よくおさむる為には此三様の事より外

師 なかなか肝要なる儀があります。これは即ち「スペルナトゥラレス・ドネス」といって、デウス（神）より直接に与え給う三つの善です。正しく信ずる為には「フィデス」（信仰）、よく頼み奉る為には「エスペランサ」（希望）、身持をよく修める為には「カリダーデ」（愛徳）、これです。されば、よく頼み奉る為には「パーテルノステル」の祈祷を知る事が肝要なる儀なれば、今教えましょう。

Master: Indeed, there are very essential matters. These are what is called "supernaturales dones" (supernatural gifts), which are three virtues given directly by Deus (God). For believing correctly there is "fides" (faith); for trusting well there is "esperansa" (hope); for cultivating good conduct there is "caridade" (charity)—these are they. Therefore, in order to trust well, knowing the prayer of the "Pater Noster" is an essential matter, so I shall now teach it.
