でうすに申上るのぞみをかなへ給ふ道は
し也
弟 でうすはいづくに御座ますぞや
師 天地いづくにも御座ます也
弟 はあてるなうすてるを申時いづれのこ
とばにて我等がねんをでうすにつうじ
奉るぞや
師 第一句目の天に御座ます我等が御をやと
云ことば也
弟 御主と申さずして御をやと申事は何
事ぞや
師 御をやとよび奉るを以て我等を大切にお
ぼしめす事をおもひ出したのもしき
心を以てこひ奉る為也
現代語訳
デウスに申し上げる望みを叶え給う道筋です。
弟子 デウスはどちらに御座しますでしょうか。
師 天地どこにでも御座します。
弟子 「パーテルノステル」を申す時、どの言葉によって我等の念をデウスに通じ奉るのでしょうか。
師 第一句目の「天に御座します我等の御父」という言葉です。
弟子 「御主」と申さずして「御父」と申すのは何故でしょうか。
師 「御父」とお呼び申し上げることによって、我等を大切に思し召すことを思い出し、慕わしい心を以ってお願い申し上げる為です。

is the path by which [God] fulfills the desires we present to Deus.
Disciple: Where does Deus reside?
Master: He resides everywhere in heaven and earth.
Disciple: When we recite the "Pater Noster," by which words do we convey our thoughts to Deus?
Master: By the words of the first verse: "Our Father who art in heaven."
Disciple: Why do we say "Father" rather than "Lord"?
Master: By calling Him "Father," we remember that He cherishes us, and we can petition Him with an affectionate heart.
