　に噺被申候は有馬之北岡に鉄炮八百挺程にて侍懸居
　申候何れも島原ゟ被押寄候はゝ此方にて戦申内に残る
　勢にて島原之城を取可申談合之由九郎左衛門具に
　噺被申候新兵衛被申候は爰詰にて敵を踏潰し候而も
　余之勢に而島原之城を取られ候而は無詮事に候間罷
　帰り城を堅め其後押寄踏潰し可申由談合極〆？
　兵船は不残島原え漕戻し申候事
又日林兵左衛門を害して後不移時刻北有馬村之横
　目殿宝加兵衛並并島原ゟ瓦積に参り居候船頭水
　主五人討殺し申候事

　浜村にて代官高橋武右衛門害し申候事
島原一揆松倉記日有馬村之代官林兵左衛門本間九

　致し絵像を破り追散し又寄合如此と注進す

に話を申し上げたのは「有馬の北岡に鉄砲八百挺ほどで侍が控えて居ります。皆、島原から押し寄せて来られれば、こちらで戦っている間に残りの勢力で島原の城を取ろうという相談をしています」と九郎左衛門が詳しく話し申し上げた。新兵衛が申したのは「ここで敵を踏み潰しても、余った勢力で島原の城を取られては意味がないので、帰って城を固め、その後押し寄せて踏み潰そう」という相談がまとまり、兵船は残らず島原へ漕ぎ戻した。

また、林兵左衛門を害した後、時間を移さず北有馬村の横目殿宝加兵衛ならびに島原から瓦積みに参って居た船頭・水主五人を討ち殺した。

島原一揆松倉記によると、有馬村の代官林兵左衛門・本間九郎左衛門が所々でキリシタンの寄合を見つけ、会合の所へ行って打擲し、絵像を破り追い散らし、また寄合があるとこのように注進するので、兵左衛門だけで行って追い散らし、絵像を取り帰ろうとするところに、会合の者がどう思ったのか追いかけて兵左衛門を討ち殺すと、そのまま村々に南は口之津村・加津佐村・小浜村・串山村・千々石村、北は有家村・堂崎村・布津村・深江村・木場村へ触れを遣わす内容は「こちらの代官林兵左衛門を

According to the Shimabara Rebellion Matsukura Record, deputies Hayashi Hyozaemon and Honma Kuroemon of Arima village would discover Christian gatherings in various places, go to the meeting places to beat [the participants], destroy religious images and disperse them. When they reported such gatherings, Hyozaemon would go alone to disperse them and take back the religious images. However, the meeting participants, thinking something [unclear], pursued and killed Hyozaemon. Immediately, they sent notices to villages - to the south: Kuchinotsu village, Katsusa village, Obama village, Kushiyama village, Chijiwa village; to the north: Arie village, Dozaki village, Funatsu village, Fukae village, Koba village.
