　引取跡へ来て無詮一揆共こらへ兼る島原勢
　も昨日ゟ之労れ弐里半之道を引取ともいま
　た半分にはよも過しいさ追懸てや者共迚跡
　をしたひ馳来るといへとも半時斗以前にあ
　ふなけなく引取也一揆之奴原申之中刻に今
　村口へ押寄来り龍珠院桜井寺二ヶ寺に火を
　附白地町より焼立南之追手へ責寄門之扉二
　尺斗切破る所を山後治兵衛同吉左衛門青木
　庄七池田半之助伊藤半右衛門須賀喜太郎曽
　我甚三郎木村弥平次等居合厳く防居たる所

　に松明に火を附門番所之窓ゟ内へ投入焼立
　んとする所を山後次兵衛同吉左衛門林治部
　右衛門三人門番所へ走入て松明を取打消す
　其後門之破ゟ吉左衛門鑓を突出すを敵心得
　たり迚櫓え走り上り鉄炮に而打殺す敵是に
　難義して引取也城中惣曲輪西之門之南弐三
　拾間石垣塀共に其節崩たる所有之敵常に案
　内者是を能知たれは此破無心元迚城中大勢
　寄合相守り敵も間近く扣てかゝらす桑野孫
　兵衛は此所に詰る也右之節城中味方に馳集

引き取った後に来ても無駄であった。一揆勢も耐えきれず、島原勢
も昨日からの疲労で二里半の道を引き取るとはいえ、まだ
半分も過ぎていまい。さあ追いかけてやろう者ども」ということで後を
追って馳せ来たが、半時ほど前に
空しく引き取ってしまった。一揆の奴原が申すには「午の刻に今
村口へ押し寄せ来て、龍珠院・桜井寺の二ヶ寺に火を
つけ、白地町より焼き立て、南の追手へ攻め寄せ、門の扉を二
尺ほど切り破った所を、山後治兵衛、同吉左衛門、青木
庄七、池田半之助、伊藤半右衛門、須賀喜太郎、曽
我甚三郎、木村弥平次等が居合わせて厳しく防いでいた所

に松明に火をつけて門番所の窓から内へ投げ入れて焼き立て
ようとした所を、山後次兵衛、同吉左衛門、林治部
右衛門の三人が門番所へ走り入って松明を取って打ち消した。
その後、門の破れから吉左衛門が槍を突き出すのを敵が心得て
いたので櫓へ走り上がって鉄砲で打ち殺した。敵はこれに
難儀して引き取った。城中総曲輪西の門の南二、三
十間、石垣・塀ともにその時崩れた所があり、敵は常に案
内者がこれをよく知っているので、この破れは心もとないということで城中の大勢が
寄り合って相守り、敵も間近に控えて攻めかからず、桑野孫
兵衛はこの所に詰めている。右の時、城中の味方に馳せ集まった
